Tips to promote a clean file structure for your applications helping you avoid leaving a cluttered, disorganized file for someone else to work with.
- If assets are no longer being used, delete them.
- All assets should be in a folder marked Assets and all solids in the Solids folder.
- Asset names should be descriptive and follow the same naming convention.
- Ensure that there are no typos in your asset names.
Best practices dictate deleting unnecessary images from the project library. Same goes for the Assets/Drawables/Default folder. It’s possible for errant images to make their way into the application, so it’s a good idea to clean up the project every now and then. Be sure to make sure that extra fonts haven’t creeped into the application.
